There's very little rhyme or reason behind the selections made for Collectables' Ultimate Summer Hits -- a series of ten-track compilations that is very skimpy and not particularly attractive to the eyes. Though all of the songs on the discs were hits, and are the original versions by the original artists, the discs skip across decades and styles with absolutely no sense of logic. Ultimate Summer Hits: Summer Fun includes Chic's "Good Times," KC & the Sunshine Band's "Get Down Tonight," the Essex' "Easier Said Than Done," the Rascals' "People Got to Be Free," the Coasters' "Yakety Yak," and the Association's "Windy." ~ Andy Kellman
