Product Description:

This budget priced best-of covers the major hits of one of the 1970s Philly Sound's finest exponents. Though they'd been around since the early '60s, the Spinners' wonder years began in the early '70s, with 1972's sophisticated dance track "I'll Be Around" setting the scene for their later hits like "One of a Kind" and the irresistible "Rubberband Man." I'LL BE AROUND also includes less well-known tracks like the sentimental, impeccably performed "Living a Little, Laughing a Little," and the disco-era "Heaven on Earth," but the highlight of this collection (and arguably of the band's career) is the soaring, socially conscious Philly Sound classic "Ghetto Child."
