War is Hell ! Movie Lover: Ace Movie Critic from SoCal Desert -- June, 11, 2006

This is an outstanding war movie. Set in Korea it is the story of a platoon led by Robert Ryan. They are cut off,lost behind the lines and trying to survive. They come across a tough Sgt played by Aldo Ray who is caring for an injured Colonel. They team up to try to find their way back to U.S. lines. When they reach the hill where their regiment is supposed to be they find it occupied by North Koreans and have to fight. Gritty, tense, and very well acted. Not to be missed!
