Lou Diamond Phillips stars in this original USA movie, based on a true story. James Chandler (Phillips) is a new agent in the Army's Criminal Investigation Division, and he is burdened with a past that haunts him. Assigned to the Presidio, a San Francisco military base, he is soon faced with the base's first murder case in its entire history. The MPs make it clear that they intend to handle the case according to their own internal rules, and they soon conclude that the dead woman--who happened to be the wife of a superior officer--was murdered in a botched robbery. Everyone, even Chandler's boss (Daniel Roebuck), warns him to let the case go. Unconvinced by the open-and-shut proceedings, however, Chandler joins forces with the victim's brother (Jason Priestly) as well as a beautiful MP named Tara Jeffires (Victoria Pratt, COMEDY HELL). The three delve ever deeper, and sometimes go against protocol to get to the bottom of the mystery.
