This two-fer CD combines the Yellowjackets 1985 album Mirage a Trois with Club Nocturne released in 1998. These LPs originally came out on Warner Bros and had been out of print until 2006 when Collectables reissued them. This pleasant set combines smooth jazz and fusion on such group originals as "Pass It On" "Claire's Song," and "Top Secret," and four vocal tracks featuring Kurt Elling, Jonathan Butler, and Brenda Russell. ~ Al Campbell
