Description by OLDIES.com:
A CD reissue of two classic Andre Kostelanetz recordings from 1975.
Includes four previously unreleased tracks.
Product Description:
2 LPs on 1 CD: MURDER ON THE ORIENT EXPRESS (1975)/NEVER CAN SAY GOODBYE (1975). Audio Remixer: John Guerriere. Liner Note Author: Mort Goode. Recording information: Columbia Studios, New York, NY (04/17/1974-04/16/1975); Sony Studios, New York, NY (04/17/1974-04/16/1975). Editor: John Guerriere. Illustrator: Andy Engel. This two-fer from Collectables features a pair of out-of-print LPs by easy listening artist Andr? Kostelanetz: Murder on the Orient Express and Never Can Say Goodbye, both originally issued in 1975. Kosty Murder On The Orient Express/Never Can Say Goodbye
Music Lover: Jeff Carter from Perry, GA US -- April, 10, 2005
This cd gets 5 stars from me easily as it contains Kosty's version of the Chinatown Theme. This version got played on a lot of b/ez stations in the 70s and 80s,one such place was WKTZ in Jacksonville Florida.I had been looking for this for years on cd and now it is finally out.Kosty's version of Chinatown is very beautiful and lush and just instrumental. The other songs are great too. This cd also contains some bonus tracks that were never released on the original albums.Kudos to Collectibles for releasing these albums by Kosty on a cd.I also recommend Percy Faith Chinatown/Summer Place 76 for his beautiful lush version of Chinatown. Both Kosty's versions and Faith's got frequent play on b/ez stations in the 70s and 80s.
