Description by OLDIES.com:
Known for their million-selling hit "Ride Captain Ride" (1970), Blues Image only ever recorded two albums - their self-titled debut (included here) and "Open." After that, the group disbanded - however a third album ("Red White & Blues Image," also included here) was assembled and released from session outtakes. Member Skip Konte went to Three Dog Night, and Mike Pinera later worked with Iron Butterfly. Joe Lala became an L.A. session player and worked with Crosby, Still, Nash & Young and Joe Walsh.
