Total Film - 07/01/2006 3 stars out of 5 -- "The cockpit-and-cabin scenes are unbearably taut, the live-or-die decisions taken by the terrified passengers translating into gut-wrenching horror for viewers."
Not to be confused with the Paul Greengrass film of the same name and subject matter, this version of FLIGHT 93 is a low-budget affair. The story revolves around the events that took place on the ill-fated plane that crashed into the Pennsylvania landscape on September 11, 2001. FLIGHT 93 is based on the facts that have been gleaned from the day's events aboard the plane, so we witness the passengers heroically fighting back against the terrorists, as well as the initial takeover of the cockpit. Meanwhile, in the skies outside the plane, there are frantic military maneuvers that make this a tense, action-packed motion picture.
