One of the more aptly named British pop bands, Dream Academy specialized in shimmering melodies and atmospheric arrangements. This two-disc set presents the London-based trio following up its successful self-titled debut (and wistful hit single "Life in a Northern Town") with 1987's REMEMBRANCE DAYS and 1990's A DIFFERENT KIND OF WEATHER, which would to be the group's final outings. The former features a guest appearance by Fleetwood Mac's Lindsey Buckingham, and the latter reunites Dream Academy with its earlier producer, David Gilmour (Pink Floyd), who lends his distinctive guitar playing to number of tracks.
