As a composer, conductor and arranger Frank DeVol scored more than fifty movies (including "The Dirty Dozen," "The Longest Yard," "Guess Who's Coming To Dinner" and "Pillow Talk") and is best known for writing the theme songs for the TV shows "My Three Sons," "The Brady Bunch" and "Family Affair." During the 1940s, he worked as an arranger for Doris Day, Tony Bennett, Rudy Vallee, Vic Damone and Dinah Shore. In the 1950s, DeVol recorded many tributes to American songwriters, including these two original Columbia albums of Irving Berlin songs.
