In 1946, Dinah Shore began a 5-year, 30-hit association with Columbia Records - the source of all the tracks in this "rarities" collection. Included are duets with Buddy Clark, Jack Smith, Woody Herman, Gene Autry and George Morgan and three previously unreleased tracks - "You're The Top" (from "Anything Goes"), "My Own True Love" (from the 1948 movie of the same title) and "Three's A Crowd" (from the 1932 David Manners' film "Crooner").

What's not to love? Music Lover: Thomas Bumbera from Maplewood, NJ US -- December, 2, 2003

All praise to the team of Dan Rivard and Ken Robertson, doing a first-rate job of rescuing pop gems of the 30s-40s from oblivion in Columbia's vaults. All the tracks here are quite tasty, with the unreleased tracks especially welcome. If this team would get to work on the complete Buddy Clark catalogue, their place in heaven would be assured. Next stop - Ginny Simms? Love those Okehs!
