KARATE: THE HAND OF DEATH is a very early kung-fu movie--the first to be released in America--with a big budget, Japanese locations and great fighting. A stolen coin retrieved from the body of a slain ex-Nazi falls into the hands of Matt Carver, who happens to be a black belt karate star. It's not long before Carver realizes how valuable the coin is when he is besieged by people trying to kill him, leading him to research the origins of the coin, with some surprising results. Action packed karate moves ensue with a bloody, and spectacular, finale.
