Product Description:

Along with Hawkwind, Gong was the foundation of the space-rock genre, their music mixing psychedelia, jazz-rock, and a highly developed sense of whimsy that extended to their self-created mythology. This collection presents a wealth of rare archival material both old and new, including footage of the classic Gong lineup of Daevid Allen, Steve Hillage, Pierre Moerlin, and Tim Blake; a Daevid Allen poetry reading from 2006; acidmothersgong performing in 2002; and a 1967 Soft Machine concert.
