These are two legendary Conniff LPs.."Jean" has a gorgeous picture of Mr. C's wife, Vera on the cover and has an incredible version of Tom Jone's "Love Me Tonight," which became a staple song on Ray's concerts....See "Live a Tahoe.." Noteworthy are his arrangements of "Oliver'" Jean and a Ray Conniff composition, "The Power Of Love."..Bridge Over Trouble is a MASTERPIECE LP with another Ray Conniff original, "Someone." The arrangements here are amoungst the best...Ray's solo (Yes, RaY SINGS too!!) on Honey Come Back will leave you breathless......The arrangement on
"Everybody's Talking" with that guitar riff will give "Nilsson" a run for his money...And of course, the sweetness of the female chorus on "Leaving On A Jet Plane....." Wow! This LP now given to US to enjoy on CD is Worth A MILLION BUCKS..It was a Classic when it was released and sounds as fresh today as it did back in the 70's...Don't PASS THIS ONE UP!!
