This is a fabulous collection of swingin' tunes from the James band. The sound quality is excellent - even the older tunes from 1938 thru early-40's sound magnificent! The selection of cuts is perfect - just the right mix of instrumental and vocals. This CD is guaranteed to get your feet tappin' and your heart thumpin'. If you're a Harry James fan like me, you'll love this CD. If you're looking for a CD that truly captures the excitement of the big band sound of the 40's, this is it!
