Product Description:

In this mystery miniseries, originally aired on public broadcasting, a former Scotland Yard detective Albert Tyburn (Trevor Eve) is sent to Nairobi to lead a new criminal investigation unit, where he encounters a complex mix of blackmail, murder, and passion. As he works to fight crime in this gritty city, he also must contend with the colonialistic leanings of the country's expatriate population. In PRIVATE LIVES, Tyburn investigates the case of the missing, wealthy Lady Daphne Ellesmere. Along the way, he strikes up a relationship with Daphne's sister, Emma Fitzgerald (Susannah Harker), and finds himself in a chaotic knot of secret affairs, murder, and arson.
