Having dropped out of college, she befriends Sally, with whom she develops an intimate relationship. They both work in a seedy strip bar owned by Irv, whose sideline is pimping and drug pushing.

Angel is tempted to try a fix of heroin and her dependence soon grows. She is forced into prostitution to pay for her addiction. Angel's father, Sven, discovers she has dropped out of college and sets out to find his daughter. As Sven begins to infiltrate the bizarre and brutal underworld that Angel has become part of, he meets with a wall of silence.

His paternal anguish and frustration heightens. After a brutal beating as a warning, he finally gets a break. But is he too late to save Angel?
