Product Description:

The largest cavalry battle ever fought on American soil! The battle of Brandy Station was the largest cavalry engagement ever fought on the North American continent. Over 20,000 mounted troops clashed in a titanic cavalry battle. Largely considered a prelude to the even larger Battle of Gettysburg, which followed shortly after, it represented the first time that the previously invincible Confederate cavalry met their match at the hands of the Union cavalry.
This DVD features a magnificent reconstruction of the Battle of Brandy Station specifi cally filmed in Virginia, the largest cavalry re-enactment ever staged in America. It also features superb dramatized “eyewitness” accounts, atmospheric recreations of camp life, period imagery and photographs, and expert analysis. Narrated by Bob Sessions.
