THE BIG WHITE: Struggling travel agent Paul Barnell (Robin Williams) thinks he has hit on the perfect moneymaking scheme in this macabre comedy. Barnell struggles to care for his wife, who has Tourette's syndrome, and has failed to locate his missing brother, who vanished five years ago. His troubles only worsen after he discovers a dead body, tries to pass it off as his brother in an attempt to claim an insurance payout, and ends up in trouble with the mob, who are looking for the missing corpse.

ARTIE LANGE'S BEER LEAGUE: Artie DeVanzo (Artie Lange) is a loveable loser whose New Jersey softball team is about to be expelled from the league. One too many on-field fights has alerted the authorities to DeVanzo and his boozy ways, and the team must put a winning streak together to salvage their status. Meanwhile, DeVanzo's off-field life starts to improve after he meets and falls in love with a local girl, who is attracted to him despite the fact that he still lives with his parents and is a hopeless alcoholic. The film builds to an amusing climax as the members of the softball team get their act together and start to rise through the ranks.
