John Tesh would seem to have it all. His standing as host of a popular TV newsmagazine (ENTERTAINMENT TONIGHT), an Emmy-winning sports commentator, and pianist/composer has made him world-famous and well-to-do. But that hasn't affected his mind-set, and the music of A PASSIONATE LIFE bears witness to that. LIFE consists of re-recordings of some of the finest tunes from Tesh's extensive catalog. If there is a "concept" at work here, it's the positive, life-affirming inspiration that fuels Tesh and gives rise to the gentle, illuminating radiance of his melodies.
