Performers, Cast and Crew:
Singing cowboy Roy Rogers and his ever-present female counterpart Dale Evans star in APACHE ROSE. Rogers plays an oil prospector who wants to drill on a patch on land in California. A group of villains, however, use devious means to bilk the landowner out of his property. His sister Billie (Evans) investigates and finds herself in grave danger, so she teams with Rogers to get the land back and expose the villains' treachery. APACHE ROSE combines Western-style action and justice with country musical numbers as only Roy Rogers and Dale Evans could.
Description by Ryko Distribution:
Join Roy Rogers, Dale Evans and Trigger the Smartest Horse in the World for the rollicking western adventure Apache Rose! This time around, Roy comes across a gang of no-good riverboat gamblers trying to stake their claim on a stretch of oil rich land owned by the lovely and strong frontier woman Billie Colby (Evans). When these crooked card sharks try to fold Billie's hand for good, only Roy and Trigger can save the day!
Filled with all the wild western fun that was a trademark of Roy's films, Apache Rose is a lost classic fully restored and digitally remastered by the Roan Archival Group!
