Cowboy Ray Healy gets into a saloon brawl with three rustlers and overpowers two of them, earning a $5000 reward. The third rustler escapes and, continuing his life of crime, robs an elderly rancher. After the rustler switches horses with him, a lawman mistakes Healy for the thief. Ray has to do some fast talking to avoid jail time... and if he wants to consummate his relationship with the old rancher's beautiful daughter.
