Performers, Cast and Crew:
ROY ROGERS WITH DALE EVANS: Everybody's favorite cowboy Roy Rogers teams up with the lovely Dale Evans in four episodes of the classic television show. In episode one, Roy must save the day when a band of thieves set out to steal an old rancher's gold. Episode two finds Roy and the gang in Pine Hill, where there has been a mysterious crime wave troubling the town. In episode three, a killer returns to town, leaving it up to Roy to send him off to jail. Finally, episode four concerns a man who is bullied by his neighbors when gold is discovered on his ranch.
THE LONE RANGER: After the evil Cavendish Gang ambushes a group of Rangers, the lone survivor, with his Indian friend Tonto, comes back to haunt them. This action-packed western condenses the first three episodes of the original TV series into feature form.
RIDERS OF THE WHISTLING PINES: As the first of the singing cowboys, Gene Autry pioneered an entire genre--and influenced such later stars as Roy Rogers and Tex Ritter--with his signature blend of musical and Western styles. In this musical classic starring America's favorite cowboy, Autry is a forest ranger framed for murder by corrupt loggers who want to harvest protected land.
