Description by OLDIES.com:

Government agent Heath Haldane is determined to locate and bring to justice the mysterious Dr. Yu, all-powerful head of the Chinese underworld, responsible for international counterfeiting, narcotics smuggling and the murder of Haldane's father. In Washington Square, he rescues beautiful Adele Ormsby who is being attacked by a gang of thugs. He follows her to a stately brownstone where she lives with her uncle, retired ambassador Edward Ormsby. He falls in love with the girl despite indications that she and her uncle are involved with the counterfeiters. Following the pair to Scotland, London and finally Paris, Haldane draws ever closer to the evil criminal mastermind, Dr.Yu, but refuses to believe the mounting evidence, that his lady love is deeply involved with the murderous criminal organization.

Handsomely produced by the Houdini Pictures Corporation, Haldane Of The Secret Service stars and is directed by Harry Houdini. This well-preserved print shows the lavish sets and costumes of this fine production which features excellent location photography on two continents.

Born Erich Weiss in Budapest Hungary in 1874, Harry Houdini is magic's greatest luminary. A master escape artist, debunker of charlatans, and a spiritual mystic who sought to commune with the dead, Houdini's name is now synonymous with miraculous, death-defying feats of escape.
