Predating many English punk records by nearly a year, TV Tube Heart is a tuneful mess of crash-and-bash full-throttle punk rock. Better than a lot of the more hyped bands of the time (like The Cortinas!), The Radiators pull out all the stops and came up with a winner first time out. Sadly, they couldn't repeat the excitement of this record. Still and all, this is a great artifact of the era. ~ John Dougan
