Description by OLDIES.com:

Cold Blood was a San Francisco-based Rock/R&B band that performed in the style of their contemporaries Chicago and Blood Sweat & Tears. Music impresario Bill Graham was so impressed with the group when they played his Fillmore West in 1969, he signed them to his record label. Highlights on this 2-for-1 collection include "I Wish I Knew Hot It Would Feel To Be Free" and two tunes by Isaac Hayes and David Porter.

Product Description:

2 LPs on 1 CD: COLD BLOOD (1969)/SISYPHUS (1971).

Cold Blood includes: Lydia Pense.

Originally released on San Francisco Records.

Rating 5.0 The greatest horn band ever!
Music Lover: LX Skye from Moab, UT US -- March, 23, 2007

Cold Blood and Lydia Pense, were the first to be signed by Bill Grahams' short-lived San Francisco label in 1969.
Although Lydia & Company are still rocking after some 30 odd years, (check out Lydias' new cd 'Transfusion' 2005), nothing equals the intensity of this first album.
Chicago & Blood Sweat & Tears became better known for their horn section, but Cold Blood blew um all away.
Thanks to the Collectable Label, for making these recordings available again, to new fans and old.
