Music made in paradise

The music on this CD is simply wonderful. Despite the title, it is not a live recording, but studio takes of Duke's imaginary music of the Virgin Islands. It is a feel good music and unlike his Afro-bossa CD, only part of the songs are originals, the rest are previously recorded tracks. The recording quality is top-notch, probably the best I have heard of music from this period. sounds as if it were recorded yesterday.
