In Nazi-occupied Holland, Dutch Colonel Pieter Deventer is aligned with the British forces and searching for a traitor in his ranks. It seems the culprit is a former Dutch resistance organizer, one who sealed many of his followers' mortal fates.
The traitor is also apparently the secret lover of a wealthy widow, Carla Van Oven, with whom Deventer has become romantically entangled. But when he learns Van Oven may be a Dutch spy herself, he has more trouble on his hands than a mere love triangle...
