Description by Ryko Distribution:

As Supreme Allied Commander in Europe, Dwight D Eisenhower oversaw the invasion of Nazi controlled Europe and what turned out to be the beginning of the end of World War II. The man who was charged with the planning and carrying out of the Allied assault on Normandy had to contend not only with Germany's awesome war mahine but also the politics and infighting inherent in such a massive undertaking. "Ike" was a compelling character whose "soldierly diplomat" persona led him from the battlefields of Europe to the Presidency of the United States.
