Joining the revitalization of the zombie film in the early 2000s is the Czech horror comedy CHOKING HAZARD. A group of alienated people have joined blind philosopher Dr. Reinis at a mountain retreat far from civilization in an effort to find meaning in their lives. What they didn't realize was that they would soon be battling for their lives as the retreat is overrun by zombie woodsmen hungry for living flesh. Without being able to contact the outside world, they will have to destroy the zombies to survive the onslaught. CHOKING HAZARD skillfully blends horror with comedy, and cleverly balances ideas about the meaning of life with the mere preservation of it.
