As they have done with their previous work, the Hughes brothers pulled no punches in bringing their subject matter to the screen. AMERICAN PIMP is at once an important historical document and an entertaining documentary. This release does not include the movie, but instead presents a number of outtakes from the film, as well as interviews with a number of pimps, and rap impresario Snoop Dogg.
