Rating 5.0 An overlooked gem . . .
Music Lover: Dan Nather from Cincinnati, OH US -- February, 14, 2005

I purchased this album as a cutout LP back in my university days, and it's always been one of my favorite jazz piano sets. Everybody I've ever played this album for loves it, including a radio DJ who exclaimed, "Why have I never heard of this album? It's fantastic!"

Except for a couple of tunes that fade out, this album has an amazingly "live" feel to it -- you'd think Phineas is playing in your living room, just for you. The whole set seems to be anchored by his twin renderings of "Where Is The Love" heard near the beginning and end.

Now that it's finally out on CD, don't miss out. But it without question -- it's sure to be one of your favorites, too.
