Product Description:

Cassius Clay was a nobody when he came to Miami in 1960. He left as one of boxing biggest legends, Muhammad Ali. This documentary explores the role of Miami in Ali's transformation--with its rich black community and legendary Fifth Street Gym--as well as the burgeoning civil rights movement, Malcolm X, and the Nation of Islam. Interviews with those who knew Ali and rare footage from the period help portray the portentous early years of the heavyweight champ.
