Nicknamed El Ídolo, the dashing actor had a prolific film career that boasted over 60 pictures. Tragically, Infante died in a plane crash in 1957, breaking the hearts of millions of fans and abruptly bringing to an end, some say, this boom period for Mexico's film industry. In this release from the COLECCION PEDRO INFANTE, however, his legacy lives on. ESCANDALO DE ESTRELLAS is the comedic story of a young man (Infante) who wants to become an actor, despite the objections of his father.
