I'm Nobody's Baby...
Customers who purchased this item also bought these: Description by OLDIES.com:Jo Ann Campbell parlayed her 1952 Florida State Twirling Champion title into a successful singing career - she began making catchy Pop records in the late '50s. This CD showcases her work on the Gore and Roulette record labels and includes the original liner notes. Campbell's hot singing shines through on this collection, along with her tender treatment of ballads such as "I'm Nobody's Baby" and "You Ooh" - also included are the self-penned songs "Wait A Minute" and "Nervous".

MAMA, CAN I GO OUT TONIGHT
is one of the best!
Music Lover: STEPHEN SCHREUDER from FLORAL PARK, NY US -- April, 2, 2005
The cost of the entire collection is well worth it if only for the two excellent versions of MAMA CAN I GO OUT TONIGHT. No late-50s, early-60s collection is complete without this gem. It has an infectious, clap-along orchestration and a charmingly innocent lyric with a solid sax countermeolody. The song stays with you eons after you first hear it. This, along with TRIANGLE (Janie Grant) and BLESS YOU (Tony Orlando) should share the *1 spot on any chart. Many of the other songs on I'M NOBODY'S BABY are very good too.
