This triple-bill features three low-budget films from the early 1940s. First, DETECTIVE KITTY O'DAY (Jean Parker) goes above and beyond the call of duty in her job as a switchboard operator when her boss is murdered and she undertakes an investigation. This vexes her boyfriend Johnny (Peter Cookson), especially when Kitty becomes both prime suspect and the murderer's next target. Then, Snuffy Smith (Bud Duncan) gets tired of evading the law as a moonshiner, and decides to join the army in PRIVATE SNUFFY SMITH. Unfortunately things aren't much better on the other side of the law, especially when Snuffy is framed by the enemy for the theft of a valuable range finder. CLUB PARADISE is a gritty drama about Julie Rogers (Doris Merrick), whose attempt to escape her dismal existence with her family leads to her involvement with ne'er do well Danny Burke (Robert Lowery). She enters a downward spiral of crime, forced into becoming a dancer at the seedy Paradise Club, where her fate with Danny is sealed forever.

Description by Image Entertainment:
Detective Kitty O'Day: Investment broker secretary Kitty O'Day finds herself eagerly playing detective when her boss is murdered. While Kitty conducts her own hunt for the killer, the number of suspects grows and a body or two turns up. Now the prime suspect, Kitty also becomes the target of the real killer. Private Snuffy Smith: Moonshine-making mountain man Snuffy Smith gets tired of dodging the "revenuers" and decides to join the Army. While Snuffy battles army discipline, a new range finder invented by another soldier is stolen by enemy agents who hide it in Snuffy's duffel bag. Faster than you can say "Times a-wasting," the spies go after the cantankerous hillbilly in this comedic adaptation of the classic comic strip. Club Paradise: It's anything but paradise for a young woman whose world slowly begins to come apart in this grim drama. Julie Rogers, living an unhappy life with her dysfunctional family, meets handsome louse Danny Burke, who puts her on the path that sends her life spiraling downward. From her arrest in a gambling house raid she's forced to become a dancer at the notorious Paradise Club, and when Danny reenters her life, her fate is sealed in this moody drama of crime and tragedy.
