This double feature includes two classics from Mexican cinema's new wave: LA FURIA DE UN DIOS, about a stubborn and proud fishing-cooperative owner in the Yucatan, and AQUELLOS ANOS, about President Benito Juarez and the battles he oversaw in the mid-1800s.
Two great films from the "New Wave” of Mexican Cinema. In LA FURIA DE UN DIOS, the story unfolds when the fishing cooperatives were created in Yucatan. Claudio O'Riley (Humberto Zurita), one of the cooperative owners, is eager to show his power even if it means his downfall. AQUELLOS ANOS is about the great battles of President Benito Juárez, between 1855 and 1867, against the conservatives and the French intervention.
