Rating 4.0 Under-estimated Jazz great
Music Lover: JazzFanHavrais from LE HAVRE, Seine-Maritime FR -- December, 21, 2005

There is not much Joe Bushkin available in CD. I was lucky to hear this formibale pianist at Nice Jazz Festival in the early 80s, and this CD shows him as good as in my memory. He has a great technique, but also a lot to say, and does not forget to swing. Why he was not more popular remains a mistery. Ed Shaugnessy is OK, and Milt Hinton his usual self (in other words : great). Highly recommended
