This L.A. quintet boasted solid harmonies reminiscent of the Mamas & the Papas and Spanky & Our Gang, but had a rocking edge like The Jefferson Airplane and Buffalo Springfield. Originally recorded for Columbia Records in the late '60s, the two albums featured on this CD feature strong instrumentals and anthem-like flower power songs like "It's a Happening Thing".
