Performers, Cast and Crew:
A guerilla leader in the Spanish Civil War continues to wage a personal campaign twenty years later until a corrupt police captain sees an opportunity to set a trap using the guerilla's mother as bait. Prestige abounds with Peck, Quinn, Zinneman and a screenplay by J.P. Miller from a novel by British director Emeric Pressburger.
Two decades after the Spanish Civil War has ended, a revolutionary continues his struggle on a very personal level. A corrupt and egotistical police chief has decided that the guerrilla must die for his deeds, and commences a steady cat-and-mouse chase.
Though it seems there's no possible escape for this human prey, the revolutionary has decided that if he must fall, he's going to make very sure his death will not go unnoticed....
