In search of greater clarity, Evan pores over his journals and is physically transported back in time where he is still a young boy (John P. Amedori) and has the ability to change what happened. THE BUTTERFLY EFFECT 2: This small-scale sequel to the 2004 feature film builds on the premise set by its predecessor, with characters able to leap back in time in order to change their personal histories. But as in the first film, such tinkering with history only leads to dire consequences in the present, causing further havoc for those afflicted with this unique ability.
