The bright lights of the big city have made Joan Barabee forget her Western roots, much to the chagrin of her dad, John. What's worse, she plans to marry Park Avenue playboy Rollo Bingham, who has his sights set on her dad's fortune. John Barabee feigns his own death in a desperate last-ditch attempt break up his daughter's impending marriage. Joan returns home to Nevada with fiancee Rollo to sell off her father's vast ranch.
