Singer, composer and keyboardist D.J. Rogers spent his teens working with the Rev. James Cleveland. He was soon in demand as a studio musician and singer, work which would lead him to a solo career in the mid-'70s. He was soon charting with songs like "Say You Love Me", "Let My Life Shine", and the Top 20 R&B smash, "Love Brought Me Back". This collection shows why he was so in demand as a session singer and why he scored all those hits on his own.
