The Charades emerged from the burgeoning California doo-wop scene in the '50s. The group backed and performed with many of the rock and roll artists (Chuck Berry, The Coasters, Connie Francis) which toured California before they began recording on their own in the early '60s. This collection features their classic "Please Be My Love Tonight", a selection of their surf-oriented songs, as well as some previously unreleased tracks.
