A perfectly acceptable, if somewhat attenuated greatest hits package. As usual, the Jimmy Webb songs are the most interesting; "Galveston," "By the Time I Get to Phoenix" and particularly "Wichita Lineman" have the feel of timeless pop classics.
Alan Toussaint's bouncy "Southern Nights" has also lost none of its charm, and the two non-hit tracks here are most definitely worth hearing. Campbell's cover of Pee Wee King's '50s stomper "Bonaparte's Retreat" is as idiomatic as they come, and the semi-obscure "Hey Little One," a catchy piece of proto-country rock by Rock And Roll Trio stalwart Dorsey Burnett, is an intriguing period piece.

This CD by Glen Campbell is truly awesome! Sure, it is short and only contains 10 songs. But, this is one of the best compilation CD's I have ever purchased (I do not buy mnay compilation albums)! If you enjoy Glen Campbell and his music, this CD is for you!
