Ex-con James Foster is shot dead in Yellowstone National Park while searching for a fortune in stolen loot, buried there 20 years earlier by the infamous Tracy Gang. Upstanding park ranger Dick Sherwood is the prime suspect. Witnesses reported seeing Sherwood and Foster in a heated argument before the murder, and the ranger's service revolver is missing a bullet. Desperate to clear his name and with the evidence stacked against him, Sherwood is sure that the buried treasure holds the key to the identity of the real killer.
Arthur Lubin began his career as an actor, but ultimately made a name for himself behind the lens. The director of five early Abbott and Costello features for Universal, Lubin went on to direct the studio's 1943 remake of The Phantom of the Opera, as well as the Francis the Talking Mule series, before turning his attention to television.
Film Collectors & Archivists: Alpha Video is actively looking for rare and
unusual pre-1943 motion pictures, in good condition, from Monogram, PRC,
