Michel Gondry directed this film about a group of New York City high-school students traveling home by bus on the last day of classes. The ensemble cast of nonprofessional actors embody a number of different characters dealing with a variety of issues, including a group of bullies, a gay couple on the verge of breaking up, and a pair of girls planning a sweet-16 party. THE WE AND THE I screened at the 2012 Toronto International Film Festival.
