Description by OLDIES.com:

The Murphy clan is a family of cops - except for young Joe, the black sheep of the family. While at the race track, Joe gets involved in a scuffle with one of his gangster pals. While the two men wrestle on the ground, the thug is killed by his own gun when it accidentally discharges. Now on the run, Joe must avoid both the mob and his overzealous patrolman brother Terry. Things get even worse for the Murphy brothers when their father cuts a deal with the mob that he believes will save his son.
