For all those wannabe rockers, this could be just the album for you. Learn to play and sing to your favorite Zeppelin songs with a full backing band. Soon you could be just like Page or Plant (or both!). The six songs ("Communication Breakdown," "Whole Lotta Love," "Heartbreaker," "Living Loving Maid (She's Just a Woman)," "Rock and Roll," and "Black Dog") are repeated in three sets, the first with Plant's vocals removed (though it's not that the real Led Zeppelin is playing on this record, anyway), the second time with Page's wailing guitar cut out, and the third, and most challenging, with both the vocals and the guitar eliminated. Presumably this makes it all easier to practice your chops in the safety of your own bedroom, though the old-fashioned way of just playing along with the actual recording has seemed to work fine for thousands of aspiring musicians before the Can You Rock? series even came out, making this album a bit of a novelty, if nothing else. ~ Marisa Brown
