But a visit with his soon-to-be in-laws goes sour when Linda's former beau, jailbird Tony Baxter, appears unexpectedly. Tony wants Linda back and demands she come alone to his motel room. Linda's brother, Jerry, formerly a member of Baxter's gang, knows the trouble his sister is in. He goes to Baxter's cottage, planning to shoot him, but someone else beats him to it.
